When I see you, I go numb,

Goofy in love, feeling dumb.

I noticed the difference but I wanted sum.

Everything we could’ve been,

No longer on the table, the offer I rescind.

Foolishly, I grin,

Beloved has forgiven all of my sin,

As the world takes a spin,

Persistent, so I deserve to win.

Holding on to faith,

I just had to have a taste,

Tempted by the urge below my waist.

I don’t wanna waste our time,

The feeling I feel, still so Divine,

Allowing things to fall in line,

Following my intuition,

From worrying I resign.

Held on for so long,

No longer doing myself wrong,

Skipping the same sad song,

High as a kite off the bong.

I had to become aware,

An emotionally intense pair,

The constant heartache wasn’t fair,

But from the Karma we created, the consequences we had to share.

Tear me apart,

Allow me to restart,

Gliding seductively to the spaceship as we prepare to depart.

He can have the last piece,

Feeling lighter with every thing I release,

Ironed straight I made the crease,

Standing firmly through all the grief,

This too shall pass, this experience brief.
